Baptism (by fire), festivals, tatuaje, and How the Hell Do I Only Have Less Than 2 Weeks Left?

It has been nearly a month that I have been here exploring an entirely new culture, an entirely new way of being, and seeing myself emerge as an entirely new person. Awesome!

 Upcoming plans:

 I start my Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu this Saturday so I will be MIA till then.
I reach Machu Picchu next Wednesday and get to spend the whole day there.Thursday, I will take a bus/train/boat to a little island in the middle of Lake Titicaca, Bolivia, to enjoy my last few days in South America! And back home, friends, late on the 16th of September.

    Love the tattoo! San Pedro ceremony... we have to watch a movie I am sure you haven't seen (despite being a USA movie) when you come back. The trek to Macchu Picchu is one of the things I still want to do with my dad; for now enjoy it for me! And I am very curious about the Titicaca adventure... I wish I was there sharing it! Hugs!
