¡Cusco!

Enjoying the day in Cusco today! What a majestic city! I took a bus for 3 soles (a little more than a dollar) to Cusco today from Coya after my meditation and sitting by a stream that runs right past the little house I am staying in. I also got to try singing bowls for the first time with Ricardo, which is harder than it looks! 

I wandered a bit looking for the best trip to Machu Picchu. The Inca Trail tickets are sold out through November, but I can get to Machu Picchu through another way. It's a 5 day, 4 night trek for around $200. I made sure that the agency I booked with treats and pays their guides and animals well, and the guy who booked my trip has connections to a curandera just 3 km from where I am staying in Coya (it's his mom!) Connections galore.

I am sitting here enjoying a shisha and fast internet for a while before I book it back to Coya for the night. Or I actually might just stay here if I can.
